Too lazy to do due diligence

i would have gone to look myself if something that shook my house happened, straight away. although i know my neighbours would also be drawn outside too.

if she called when she says she did it should be recorded, including what was said and by whom.

what if that driver was alive and was left all that time and only passed away because no one found him in time?

they say minutes count in emergencies. waiting 4 or 5 hours to respond is just crazy. not the caller but the police, questions should be asked as to what failed here.

It's one thing for emergency services to be too busy to be able to attend but to be left to die due to apathy

Bit strange, but the call should be on record.  I wonder how far her house is?  Did she just report loud crash sound?  Unless she went out and saw it how would she know it was a truck falling of a bridge?  How come other people in the area  did not report or go to see what has happened?

Unless she is like one of my neighbors who is well know at the council and other places for making complaints; when we were having some work done on the house she made some ridiculous complaints, including that  she did not like the workers on our roof looking into her back yard.  She told other people in the street tat she complained, they told us, and when we rang the council worrying if there is anything that could affect our building permit, we were told she is well known and not to worry.

The article said it happened at 11pm and she called 6 am?
