We went out for 30 mins and stupidly left dog inside. Came back and he has managed the following
A tennis ball in minute pieces all over OH study
Chomped his way through the head phone wires
Stripped the fabric off my make up case (a hanging offense)X-(
Chewed through the strap on a silk top
Very neatly chewed out the crotch of my new swimmers.:_|
He is completely manic today for some reason, don't know if it is because he has been in because of the heat.
OH has suggesting dropping him over the back fence of the RSPCA with a note.

Sorry OP I'm sitting here giggling evilly as I had the same problem with my darling JRT.
Pens and pencils are her all time favourite chewing toy, but when she was a puppy she would 'gut' her toys all over the lounge room, thankfully she left my clothes alone. But my first dog Sarah (corgi x JRT) loved used underwear.
Wait until you JRT brings in the remains of a blue tongue lizard that they had buried for a week ๐

I'm sooooo glad I'm not the only one.
I have 2 staffies, my girl is so sweet although very street smart because she was neglected in a previous life. So she's tough.
I have one male, who is show quality, cost me a grand and just looks amazing... he's just a really naughty boy though.
When my ex and I were together I kept them both inside if we went out because they could be easily stolen from the yard there.... We rent. One day I came home and Jack had ripped up half of the brand new lino in the kitchen. Ripped it up and chewed it into small peices. Did I mention we rent.
Luckily we had spare lino that got put in the back shed, and it was easily fixed... but OMG I could've killed him. When I left my OH I got custody of Jack. ๐ :^O

Still a youngster eh? and you are still learning?
You don't leave a Jack Russell home alone... or any other pup or young dog... they are upset that their pack and gone off without them and will take it out on anything they can get their teeth into.
Take him with you whenever possible and put him on a chain in a safe environment with a beef bone or a kong when you can't take him
DON'T give him marrow bones, they will break his teeth.
They will wander for miles of accidently let out and will find their way out if you are careless....
Oh boy! Wot fun ๐
Hang in there, one day he will be wonderful... but remember all puppies and young dogs have to get to about 5 before they can be considered 'adult'

Kayza, I have just posted a request on the Answer page asking how to upload a photo of him. He is weird. According to the vet he is 7/8 pug and 1/8 Jack Russell. He looks like he has been stitched together. He has a JRT head and little legs and a Pug body and very long curly tail.
