For those interested, I include a link to a United Church of God site which very clearly tells of the history of the adoption of the Trinity Belief. It states what I have believed all along - that the doctrine IS NOT BIBLICAL and that ..... well, you can read for yourself.

very confusing.
Didn't you know She is the Whore Of Babylon?
As I said before, this argument is degenerating into a Big Endians versus Little Endians piece of absurdity
Out in the real world people are starving, killing each other, and dying of preventable diseases, yet apparently salvation for the human race depends on knowing whether Jesus was really God or only a demigod.
LOL yes! i think i read about that
in the Watchtower

.To address what you stated,it depends on what you call salvation and whether of not whether people die or not ,,preventable or otherwise is important.
Actually it depends on what you call salvation. As I have said before, I am an athiiest, so I don't believe in heaven, hell, fiery pits or any afterlife of any kind. It just seems to me that in view of thetroubles in our world and the injustice and misery that has always existed your argument with Rabbit over the precise meaning of a few words written thousands of years ago is incredibly trivial and pointless.

Yes, I agree. It is OBVIOUS to anyone that the TRINITY doctrine is a LIE - an invention of a Pagan Roman Emperor and propogated by a series of infallible Popes. I'm glad we agree.
Thankfully, more and more are realising this.
And I note you ran from the questions that will show you are wrong.I have had over 200 refuse to answer these questions.I ask you as I ask them, what are you frightened of?Why are you so scared to answer?
I haven't run from anything. I am still here - pondering your statement that I quote people who believe in the anti-christ etc.
I also note how you neatly sidestep my posts by changing the subject. What have you to say about the 1 Cor?

To me elephant it is not incredibly trivial and pointless because it will eventually lead to the truth.
To me it is trivial and pointless worrying about what you term injustice and misery.

well, ele - I suppose it may appear that way, but, what can I do sitting here at my desk to improve the lot of people on the other side of the world who are starving, and dying of curable diseases?

I asked SIMPLE questions.Your questions can go around and around and around.I am asking questions that can take us somewhere.
So again I ask.I will start with one question.
You agree that Jesus was crucified.
I agree also.
Your scholars that you quote claim that it happened on a Friday. My question to you is do you accept what your scholars say and that you agree it happened on a Friday.Yes or no?

still sidestepping. I want to hear your comments on 1Cor that I posted. You have not answered ANY of my other posts, and if you don't answer that one ........ I'm going to take my ball and go home ...

To me it is trivial and pointless worrying about what you term injustice and misery.
Then I would suggest that what you worship is not a God at all, merely an exercise in semantics.

You are entitled to your opinion.
