Trump nominated for 2021 Nobel Peace Prize

United States President Donald Trump has been reportedly nominated for the 2021 Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts to broker diplomatic ties between Israel and the United Arab Emirates.

Trump was nominated by Christian Tybrin-Gjedde, a member of the Norwegian Parliament, Fox News has reported.

"For his merit, I think he has done more trying to create peace between nations than most other Peace Prize nominees," Tybrin-Gjedde told Fox.

They've got their big chance in the upcoming election. But I think their blatantly trumped- up attempts at the character-assasination of Trump will go against them.

Trump campaign attacks Biden through deceptive means, editing & hyperbole of TV ads & videos since the middle of the year, most contain clearly misleading claims.

The Dems (not Biden or their campaign) simply quotes what Trump says or does, & is obviously open to criticism.

Greta has been nominated for this years - 2020 - NPP.

For the 2020 prize, some 318 nominations were made and the accolade is due to be awarded in October.

Anyone eligible to nominate is able to put any person or organization forward for the prize, and there is no vetting of nominations prior to the deadline for them being made, according to the Nobel Peace Prize website.

There are several ways in which people can be eligible to be nominators. Members of national assemblies and national governments of sovereign states and also current heads of state are able to nominate.
