Tuesday Pondering: I have a theory.

Have you ever notice beautiful successful women who are still single? we can use the girls from the bachelor as an example.

And you tend to notice more the average looking girls are hitched up. 

Why is that?

I suspect the above have unrealistic standards of blokes that don't exist and that no one is good enough for them.  So essentially THEY are the problem that they're single.

yeh, i tend to agree.Either that or they were so focussed on their careers, they had no time for serious dating

Why is being single a problem?

If it is true that more beautiful women are single, it has to do with men's insecurities.  

Men also expect beautiful women to already be "taken".

Women dont need men and definitely wont in the future, so who cares.

Therese Rein/Rudd isn't single, but she's certainly successful...perhaps they got married before she became so?

I have a theory too, Bob.

When a couple get divorced it seems the women do not rush into marriage, unlike men who do.

Women discover they like their freedom and being single.

Men can't survive with a woman.....the two Ls being applicable....Lust and Laundry.

The Batchelor isn't reality

I would guess the contestants are on there for publicity/money/fame. And if they are on TV to find true love then what kind of woman humiliates themselves competing with a gaggle of women for one guy? Seriously demeaning.

But I do agree most men would prefer a beautiful successful woman as a girlfriend and marry an average woman who would make a better wife. Perhaps the beautiful successful women are lacking in wifely skills.

Maybe they want to be single, haven't met the right person,aren't interested in men ? Though it may be hard for men to understand...some women don't want or need them in their lives.

I really think that your own comments and observations about outer appearances and money show that 

...some people ,even in this day and age consider other things more important.
