Tuesday Pondering: I have a theory.

Have you ever notice beautiful successful women who are still single? we can use the girls from the bachelor as an example.

And you tend to notice more the average looking girls are hitched up. 

Why is that?

I suspect the above have unrealistic standards of blokes that don't exist and that no one is good enough for them.  So essentially THEY are the problem that they're single.

But I do agree most men would prefer a beautiful successful woman as a girlfriend and marry an average woman who would make a better wife. Perhaps the beautiful successful women are lacking in wifely skills.

umm, arent humans by nature social sexual creatures?

I didn't word the above very well ....

Some men would prefer a beautiful successful woman as a girlfriend but most end up marrying the average woman who they believe would make the best wife. I really do believe some men are threatened by beautiful successful women. You often hear models complaining they have trouble finding a guy because they (the guy) are usually too intimidated to approach them. Then we have the rich powerful older men who tend to choose beautiful but dumb.

But having said that .. there are men who choose their best friend/soul mate to marry.

Why is the guy single?   He's nice looking and has a good profession so should have been able to 

attract someone.  He's 31.
