US currency

We have just picked up some US currency for our trip.  How do people who are visually impared manage over there?  All the notes are the same size, how do they tell them apart?

We aren't going to the US.  We're going to be in Asia where USD is the generally accepted currency.  Apparently small change is given in local currency.

We leave on Saturday for a month.  I'm very excited :^O
