Re: US debt ceiling.

It well may be that a few rich republicans and their associates have made significant personal profits from this affair over the last few weeks, but  at the expense of relegating the Rep party to the policitical wilderness for what remains of the forseeable future.

But the right wing ever only had a short term perspective. "I got mine . . etc, etc, Jack" (sic)

Too true, that has been the battle of the good since the dawn of time but is also like water off our ducks backs.

Nature knows no good or evil, it just does. Add some human thought, and it will always slant to good.

With an ID like jimmeh, I always thought you were dinky di aussie (aboriginal).  Smiley Happy  (It's a common anglicised name for many aboriginal). Nice to see communication between the lands.

I like the way you think and would like to see your thoughts on other threads, although I don't see you post much.

I'm in New York where even the southerners call us yanks!

I got that name from another poster on the US ebay who kept spelling it that way....so I took the name. Smiley LOL

*GooOO NOID! lol*

Ok....toss in New Jersey. It was said just to make the point.....more people, more politicians, more corruption.

This ties in with what I was saying to kopenhagen5 a few posts back....speaking of New Jersey, the Governor Chris Christie....where did he come from? I don't know, but "someone" is pushing him hard. You'll be hearing of him a lot more in the future.

I suspect he has the backing of the "them" I was speaking of. I'll wager he'll become President.
