After Mondays devastating storm we are again under HUGE hailstone attack. They are so big they are hitting the ground and bouncing high in the air. They sound like bullets being fired.

Great pics. We now have our roof wrapped up with many thanks to the SES. I went into the bathroom last night and found a gaping hole in the skylight. Back to the insurance company with another claim. This has got to end soon!!!

My camping daughter got a storm with big hailstones but no damage, they holed up in someone's caravan, 13 children and 5 adults!

I don't have a car so spend a lot of time walking or waiting at bus stops and I think I am starting to develop a fear of storms!!
Even though we haven't had anything like in the photos I now find myself getting anxious when I hear the rumblings of thunder in the distance while out and about, I just want to run home.
I know I am being silly thinking every storm will come with hail but I can't help it.

hi
we are in sydney not getting the hail as yet(only get the smaller ones)
but we are getting a bombardment of rain pretty much non stop
its coming down fast and heavy
some drain flooding and the yards are puddle city
the thunder and lightning on friday night was scary loud and non stop
right now it is pouring down so heavy, got all the windows and doors closed
sorta stuck at home as we dont drive so to far to walk anywhere in this would be drenched in a flash
hope the hail stops for you all.

Good luck with it Tara. I have been watching on the news and it really seems bad in Sydney. Stay dry.

Hope you get your roof fixed quickly, Jean. The insurance co. will contact me as to when the car can be assessed. I'm in no hurry as don't really want to pay the $800 excess at the moment. Anyway, you have to look closely to see the little dents. The panel beater said they suck them out.
Dorrigo had a bad hail storm today, the streets are white. At least no hail for us today although heaps of thunder and rain.
