Immigration gave us a country where the armed forces no longer dare wear uniforms in our street
This is no longer the Australia we knew.
This is no longer something to be dismissed as just a problem with a tiny, unrepresentative minority:
The attack follows the knife attack on two police officers in Victoria that ended with an 18-year-old Islamic extremist being shot dead in Victoria.
NSW Police confirmed today that they were investigating the alleged attack on a member of the Australian Defence Force in full navy uniform at 6 o’clock this morning.
It is understood punches were thrown and threats of beheading were made.
A police spokesman confirmed the 41-year-old man allegedly suffered minor bruising in the attack and reported it later by telephone to Kings Cross police.
“The two men were described as being of middle eastern appearance,” the spokesman said.
Defence force families have already been put on high alert after an incident in Western Sydney in which two men of Middle Eastern appearance approached the house of a serving soldier and asked if defence force personnel lived there.
They left after the wife of the soldier told them “no”.
NSW Police have also been told to be “vigilant” following the Melbourne attack by radicalised teenager Numan Haider.

Conflicting messages from the Vic police and Ken Lay. Was he a lone wolf? no, it seems he was not.
"Police believe the three men seen at the Hungry Jack’s restaurant with Haider may hold the key to understanding what prompted a recent high-school graduate from a well-educated, middle-class Afghan family to take on a suburban suicide mission.
Police also want to find a man who may have accompanied Haider to the police station.
A local shop owner has told police that he saw the man, dressed in traditional Islamic garb, observing the confrontation in the well-lit carpark.
Victoria Police Chief Commissioner Ken Lay yesterday left open the possibility Haider was not acting alone when he took the fateful decision to attack police."

We can only hope this murderer is caught and punished for his brutal crimes. This is what young Australian jihadists aspire to, this is what we are up against.
THE FBI believes it has identified the man with a British accent who has appeared in videos depicting the beheadings of two American journalists and a British aid worker.
James Comey, FBI Director, told reporters he would not reveal the name or nationality of the man nicknamed by the media ‘Jihadi John.
He did not address whether the US believes the man actually carried out the killings himself.
The full beheadings are not shown in the videos, but the articulate, English-speaking militant holds a long knife and in each video appears to begin sawing at the necks of the three men, American reporters James Foley and Steven Sotloff and British aid worker David Haines.
Alan Hennings, a British taxi driver who was captured in Syria last December while helping in the aid effort, appeared at the end of the David Haines execution video, and the jihadist threatened that he would be killed next.
In late August, British Ambassador Peter Westmacott said his country was close to identifying the Islamic State group militant.

We are just one innocent dead Australian way from there being mosques raised to the ground, I feel extremely sorry for the innocent Muslims in this country, but the only way they can stop it is to stop their own from making just as stupid decisions and attacking Australians
Only the mosques have some hope to persuade Muslim kids that ISIL is not true Muslim organisation.
Why not just raze to the ground whole Endevour Hills? After all that is where this boy came from?
Interestingly, some of these peaceful Ausies have always wanted to destroy mosques, or at least not allow them to be built. I remember when the mosque in Lysterfield, on the foothills of the Dandenong Ranges, was being built. There were constant attacks, pigs heads were left there and anti Islam slogans. That was back in early 1980s. The anti Islam propaganda got only worse from then.

So, you are saying people should be deported because they do not believe something ? Yes, they are naive if they think 18 years old could not do that. But it also very natural reaction of somebody who knew the person. We tend to think of people who commit horrible crimes as monsters, non humans. If somebody who you know does something like that, the 1st reaction is a disbelieve.
But I heard one young woman saying that she knew him for few years, and he was a very shy lovely boy, always willing to help anybody who needed help. She said that "she could not understand, how the boy she knew, could have done something like that". Amazing, how few changed words give the very similar statement completely different meaning.

We haven't actually heard the "cops" version yet...............
There are a great many people who aren't Muslim expressing the same sentiments, where should we send them, for their opinions?
I thought the Defence Force had ordered their members not to be in uniform after the first assault? Not sure where I saw that but I recall thinking that was an unrealistic request and more precautions needed.
Disgusting that people are behaving so badly at the moment and doubly disgusting that anyone would threaten children in a school, with a knife.

Doubly disgusting??? did anybody get injured, have they found the perpetrator, and until they do the viscious attack on the police is the most frightening thing and that was done by a muslim jihadist, ignoring that is ignoring all that's happening in our country and the world.
This is a radical muslim uprising and that FACT cannot be ignored. We do not deserve this, we did nothing to deserve this, this is not OUR fault.
The dishonesty and excuses are being served up.

Children should never be subjected to violence of that nature, why would you defend a person who does that?

It is so sad to see. An eye for an eye is still the way people think and it is so wrong. There is absolutely no excuse for threatening children. It seems it's just giving angry people an excuse to behave appallingly.

Now you are re writing my post. I did not defend violence against children and for you to say so is antagonistic.
