I was going to title this topic COVID vaccination rates and opening up at 80% (by the numbers) . . . but went with the one suggested by countess on another thread.
Please note that I am not starting this thread for the discussion of COVID vaccination, making vaccination mandatory or the pros/cons of vaccination.
This thread is also not for posting about 'early stage treatments' for COVID. I may well report any such posts for being off-topic if they are made.
I won't be posting arguments for or against vaccination, just the numbers and percentages that will drive the easing of restrictions.
The intention of this thread is to provide an analysis of the figures that I haven't been able to find elsewhere. It is for me to post screengrabs of an Excel spreadsheet that shows the double dose percentages that will become crucial in opening up the country.
I will prepare a spoiler so that members can see how the spreadsheet numbers are calculated. The spoiler will also note the source I use for spreadsheet preparation.
If anyone notices any errors in my calculations or screengrabs then please let me know.

I've been interested in the 'additional data' website link you posted a few days ago.
But it makes me wonder about how accurate some of the stats are.
For instance, I had a look at Olivet aged care facility a few days back. It had 15 current cases (11 staff, 4 residents) and 1 death.
Now admittedly the outbreak started a couple of weeks back so some numbers may be going down, but I looked through the aged care facilities list and I can't see Olivet listed there at all. I would not have expected it to go from 15 to zero in only a handful of days.
Then I decided to browse the 'cases linked to key outbreaks' and there it is in there, with 12 active cases. Can't understand why it isn't in the aged care facility list as well.

Springyzone, there are occasional data issues, where the figures are subsequently reconciled. Sometimes itโs more an issue of data being provided publicly in one way, and not bring updated, although the correct data is recorded in the raw data. And sometimes itโs a state government decision to release information in a certain way without breaking it down for the public.
I find some of the decisions around release of information parameters to be inexplicable. However, if the information canโt be worked out from what is released to the public or the media, I must abide by that. It has led me to scouring all sorts of pages I might otherwise have disregarded.
Regarding the outbreak in that aged care facility, the state government has not listed all sites where outbreaks occur. Thatโs certain.

I noticed something a bit strange (to me, anyway) on the covid live website today.
It concerned % of population vaccinated.
If you look at this, it is saying 108.6% of those over 70's in ACT have had a first dose and 105.1% have had their second.
Maybe this has been covered before but if so, I have forgotten. How can you have over 100% of the people vaccinated?
