I know nothing about arms to the Germans but one thing is for sure. Coca cola invented Fanta to sell to the Nazis so that when American soldiers were fighting them and captured them they wouldn't be demoralised by seeing that the Nazis had Coke too.
The greatest nation on earth is only great at capitalism. Not at being a nation and if China wasn't supporting your almost twenty trillion in debt there would probably be no U.S.A

Get one thing very clear about WWII. Australian soldiers halted the advance of Japanese soldiers towards Australia.
The British wouldn't return any of our troops and America wouldn't help except for some obsolete aircraft and a small group of USAAF pilots and aircraft based in Darwin. Both Britain and America were struggling and had written us off and as we are so far from both of you didn't care what happened to us.
Macarthur had such a hard time he ran away and made a grandiose speech in Terowie, South Australia about how he would return but he wouldn't have if not for a vastly outnumbered Australian force that stopped the Japanese on Kakoda from getting set up in New Guinea.
He ran away, you can't gloat about returning if you don't run away. America saved many an island in the pacific from the Japanese but she sure didn't save this island.

If you want to get really pedantic. The British with their Hurricane and Spitfire won the war because if the battle of Britain had been lost you lot wouldn't have got all those Nazi scientists that invented the nuclear bomb.

I would never belittle Australia's efforts in New Guinea........chiefly because my father was there with the Australians.........he was wounded and recuperated in Melbourne, where he met my mother. However, and this is a big however......the diggers used American aircraft, American tanks, and American logistics. Had it not been for the strategic victory at the Battle of the Coral Sea, and the booting of the Sons of Nippon from Guadacanal, things would have been a lot more dicey.

The victory of the Battle of Britain, by Spits and Hurris would have been a lot more difficult, if not impossible, had the convoys from the US not provided food, ammunition, and aviation gasoline. Remember, England is an island, and had a dearth of oil producing wells.
