My deepest sympathy to all IN WA. Who now have to put up with all those politic ads.

.....am really angry about something that happened regards voting too.
2 weeks leading up to election I wanted to support the Labour party. Thought I would call and ask if they had a candidate in our area....so I could ask them to mount a billboard on our front lawn in support etc. So many Libs in this area!!
Anyhoo.....couldn't find one readily!! Rang parliament house in Perth (state offices) and after being diverted a few times was given the name of some dude in Collie (Italian name). Rang his mobile a few times and he rang back later saying that he was not getting many of his calls......very suss. He and his Dad arrived with a billboard a few days later. They mounted it on my front lawn. I asked who he had chosen to give his preferences to. He refused eye contact and said he didn't know. Thought this odd with just over a week to go.
On voting I noticed on my ballot paper that this one and only supposed loyal Labour candidate had given his 3rd preferences to the Libs......**bleep**?

Are you pleased to have another say?

the two major parties preference each other to prevent independents from getting a look in, its all back room deals.
They have changed the rules for upper house to prevent independents from even getting onto the ballots paper
