WORDLE - anyone else trying the daily online word game?

I recently stumbled across WORDLE online.  For the uninitiated, it is a daily word guessing game where you have to try to guess the word in 6 or less tries.

This, from Wikipedia, explains the game:

Every day, a five-letter word is chosen which players aim to guess within six tries. After every guess, each letter is marked as either green, yellow or gray: green indicates that letter is correct and in the correct position, yellow means it is in the answer but not in the right position, while gray indicates it is not in the answer at all. The game has a "hard mode" option, which requires players to include letters marked as green and yellow in subsequent guesses. The daily word is the same for everyone. The game also has a dark mode as well as a high-contrast theme for colourblind accessibility, which changes the color scheme from green and yellow to orange and blue.

I have found that most that most days I can get the daily word in 5 tries or less (mostly 5 though).  Interestingly, there is a spinoff of WORDLE called LEWDLE, where the words are lewd, or naughty, words.  I have better success with LEWDLE than I do with WORDLE . . . getting the word in just 2 or 3 attempts.  Not sure what that says about my private school education 🤣

This was a fairly easy one for me in that I had a fair idea of the word shapes in several of them early on and there were not dozens of possible answers.
I made a stupid guess for #3 on about turn 6, as I should have noticed it was impossible for it to be the answer. But all the same, it solved #2 and #7 for me so can't complain.

Let us just say I did not shine at the word games today, I was a bit reckless and did whatever occurred to me, feeling a bit washed out this morning, hopefully get my energy back by tomoorow so I can slay it!

OMG the walk of shame on this one, so close yet so far. After turn 2, I didn't think it was worth using another eliminator as I could only think of 2 very likely answers and as you can see, I chose the wrong one on turn 3.

My impeccable judgement at work again.😂 But at least I got it eventually.

#5 on turn 3, I tried flint. It was wrong. I suspected then it must be glint but left it as others beckoned.
Then somewhere near the end I looked at #4 and thought.. The D has already been out so that word has to be frier. I had not noticed that a D had actually been exposed already in #4. Careless. Kicked myself after that and in a fit of rage solved #5 before I would correct #4.
Silly thing is it was not a hard puzzle today. I could have done fractionally better but not spectacularly better as I made that mistake at turn 3.

With this one, off yo a bad start but after turn 2, I thought the answer would probably be crush or brush. I fancied crush more so went for it. All wrong.
So then I had to rethink and came up with a list-pushy, bushy, mushy, gushy, even husky etc etc
I didn't want to time out at turn 6, so turn 4 was an eliminator, with fingers crossed.

I got #3 on turn 3 but after that, nothing was inspiring me. Plenty of choices but none I could narrow down, so turn 4 was an eliminator, made a mistake in a guess lower down. Got through eventually.
