WORDLE - anyone else trying the daily online word game?

I recently stumbled across WORDLE online.  For the uninitiated, it is a daily word guessing game where you have to try to guess the word in 6 or less tries.

This, from Wikipedia, explains the game:

Every day, a five-letter word is chosen which players aim to guess within six tries. After every guess, each letter is marked as either green, yellow or gray: green indicates that letter is correct and in the correct position, yellow means it is in the answer but not in the right position, while gray indicates it is not in the answer at all. The game has a "hard mode" option, which requires players to include letters marked as green and yellow in subsequent guesses. The daily word is the same for everyone. The game also has a dark mode as well as a high-contrast theme for colourblind accessibility, which changes the color scheme from green and yellow to orange and blue.

I have found that most that most days I can get the daily word in 5 tries or less (mostly 5 though).  Interestingly, there is a spinoff of WORDLE called LEWDLE, where the words are lewd, or naughty, words.  I have better success with LEWDLE than I do with WORDLE . . . getting the word in just 2 or 3 attempts.  Not sure what that says about my private school education 🤣

I didn't get far with turn 1, so just went with my usual for turn 2, which was better.

After that, I could still think of too many words to risk just guessing. Several possibilities had R in them.  Some had P, the rest of the likely letters were pretty scattered so I just went with pricy, which is a 'sometimes' eliminator for me.

I am surprised this turned out as well as it did. 
Alien provided fairly lean pickings, mainly a few yellows and nothing at all in a couple of places.
But turn 2 helped a bit and after I solved #1 (which has been out several times in the past), they fell like dominoes.

There was a mad moment where I was going to type in hunch for #5 then saw it could be munch so I held off and solved #4 Hasty, which solved the problem of  #5 for me.

I was pretty chuffed to get as low as 62, considering.

It wasn't hard at all, it is just I didn't start solving till turn 4 (always fatal 🤣) and I made a mistake on #1

Shades of Wordle! Early on, I could see #1 was probably dolly/folly/jolly and #3 was friar/briar/fried/drier etc
Once I solved drool aT #4, that cut out the D and I tried folly for #1. Wrong, but it did help with #3 at least!

I went off my usual track a bit with this one.

After my 1st turn, I figured there were only so many letters that could go in front of the L.
BCFGPS. Unless of course the answer was elate, which would be just like wordle!
So I went with flags as second word. Not much help except to cut out 'ea' possibilities and it made C unlikely.
Next I tried blimp.

To me, it was between blade/blare/blaze. Thank goodness blame was out of the game or I would have gone with that first!

Mistake with #2 on the 5th turn, tried tough instead of touch.
Could have gone wrong on #8 at the end as both flock and clock were equally possible but I went with flock and got lucky.
#6 gave me shades of wordle vibes, especially after turn 3 where I had BL plus an e & a. But I thought, surely not another blade so held off, luckily.😂
