WORDLE - anyone else trying the daily online word game?

I recently stumbled across WORDLE online.  For the uninitiated, it is a daily word guessing game where you have to try to guess the word in 6 or less tries.

This, from Wikipedia, explains the game:

Every day, a five-letter word is chosen which players aim to guess within six tries. After every guess, each letter is marked as either green, yellow or gray: green indicates that letter is correct and in the correct position, yellow means it is in the answer but not in the right position, while gray indicates it is not in the answer at all. The game has a "hard mode" option, which requires players to include letters marked as green and yellow in subsequent guesses. The daily word is the same for everyone. The game also has a dark mode as well as a high-contrast theme for colourblind accessibility, which changes the color scheme from green and yellow to orange and blue.

I have found that most that most days I can get the daily word in 5 tries or less (mostly 5 though).  Interestingly, there is a spinoff of WORDLE called LEWDLE, where the words are lewd, or naughty, words.  I have better success with LEWDLE than I do with WORDLE . . . getting the word in just 2 or 3 attempts.  Not sure what that says about my private school education 🤣

OMG I was even lucky to get it in 6. I guessed it because by that stage, it was the only combination of letters I could put together and pronounce & that looked like a word. Plus it reminded me of a book from my childhood (no doubt  banned these days or renamed)

I googled the word after I finished. I had never heard of it before.

Now for some consonants, I thought. 
Pricy/fudge  Now that didn't get me far, did it!

But on the positive side, not many letters were left. Most likely were M, B and maybe K although the C was out of the game so I thought K more unlikely.

My 5th word was maybe. I immediately thought mamba, except I knew it had to have an O.

The word reminded me of the book Little black Sambo, which I loved as a kid because of the way the tiger (I think it was a tiger) melted like butter.

Oh! I remember borrowing that book from the library at age 4 or something! My memory of it was that it was adorable.

After turn 2, all I could think of was vellum, which of course doesn't fit.
So I wondered if a word such as velum exists. Googled, it does exist. But it seemed a bit obscure, maybe?
Third word, just to test some more letters-pride. The R caused a rethink & I got it. I think it has been out in octordle within the last few weeks?

Was going along okay but ran out of inspiration towards the end and used bumfs as eliminator.
After that, the host of possibilities for #2 had been cut out so i got that, but I fell at the last hurdle, #5. I played poker instead of joker.
