WORDLE - anyone else trying the daily online word game?

I recently stumbled across WORDLE online.  For the uninitiated, it is a daily word guessing game where you have to try to guess the word in 6 or less tries.

This, from Wikipedia, explains the game:

Every day, a five-letter word is chosen which players aim to guess within six tries. After every guess, each letter is marked as either green, yellow or gray: green indicates that letter is correct and in the correct position, yellow means it is in the answer but not in the right position, while gray indicates it is not in the answer at all. The game has a "hard mode" option, which requires players to include letters marked as green and yellow in subsequent guesses. The daily word is the same for everyone. The game also has a dark mode as well as a high-contrast theme for colourblind accessibility, which changes the color scheme from green and yellow to orange and blue.

I have found that most that most days I can get the daily word in 5 tries or less (mostly 5 though).  Interestingly, there is a spinoff of WORDLE called LEWDLE, where the words are lewd, or naughty, words.  I have better success with LEWDLE than I do with WORDLE . . . getting the word in just 2 or 3 attempts.  Not sure what that says about my private school education 🤣

At first I had a fair few possibilities in mind in most spots but as I worked my way through it, each word solved seemed to help another spot. 
Except for #7 brave or brace? I liked both, chose the wrong one first.

This worked out slightly better. At first I was tossing up glove/clove/bloke etc for spot 2, then I noticed #1 was looking exactly the same. I didn't much fancy bloke as it is possible but so Australian, so I thought, just try out glove, if it isn't the answer for #2, it may be for #1. Got lucky, but had to rethink #1.

I was sure the word would have an R in it and probably a W.
Third word was faced. Didn't get lucky there.
Fourth word brown but worried about grown.
No R? Incredulous. Had to rethink completely.

Had a moment of horror on turn 5 as I pressed to enter intro and thought oh no, no, no, take it back, it could be nitro.
But I got lucky there. I had actually intially had it tagged as ppssibly tonic but solving #3 put paid to that idea.
Apart from that, not too bad but these days I have slowed down and try to double check before I guess, not finishing them at breakneck speed like I used to. I still tend though to focus on a spot without properly checking all the other spots to see if there is something easier.

At least it is under 60. I really dislike word #7 but I had all 5 letters and couldn't see what else it could be.
And I found #8 a bit weird too but I had to squish all those vowels in somewhere and an E after that first green L wasn't working for me.
I had #5 pegged as probably mimic but felt I overall needed an eliminator at turn 6 (pricy), which led to a rethink. Saved me from raven for #3 too. I had lots of wrong guesses lined up!

Overall, happy with today's scores as at least they are well under 60.

I was going along much as I had with the classic but got stuck on #6. Looked at the letters I had left and thought-can't be fudgy so maybe pudgy. Nope.
After that, the F stood out on the keyboard and I thought-of course, and much more their type of word.

Then #5, abuse or amuse? At least I got it first off this time, so score could easily have been worse.
