WORDLE - anyone else trying the daily online word game?

I recently stumbled across WORDLE online.  For the uninitiated, it is a daily word guessing game where you have to try to guess the word in 6 or less tries.

This, from Wikipedia, explains the game:

Every day, a five-letter word is chosen which players aim to guess within six tries. After every guess, each letter is marked as either green, yellow or gray: green indicates that letter is correct and in the correct position, yellow means it is in the answer but not in the right position, while gray indicates it is not in the answer at all. The game has a "hard mode" option, which requires players to include letters marked as green and yellow in subsequent guesses. The daily word is the same for everyone. The game also has a dark mode as well as a high-contrast theme for colourblind accessibility, which changes the color scheme from green and yellow to orange and blue.

I have found that most that most days I can get the daily word in 5 tries or less (mostly 5 though).  Interestingly, there is a spinoff of WORDLE called LEWDLE, where the words are lewd, or naughty, words.  I have better success with LEWDLE than I do with WORDLE . . . getting the word in just 2 or 3 attempts.  Not sure what that says about my private school education 🤣

OMG this was painful for me.

And so disappointing. I started off gleefully enough, solving on turns 2 and 3, but then ran into some potholes.

#7 threw me right off, I had no idea, except I suspected the order of the final 3 letters so i just had to make it up with the other 2 into what I thought was the most likely combo.

You'll see I cunningly changed my eliminator at turn 4 to short instead of shout. I was so pleased with that move but pride comes before a fall! 😂
Made a mistake for #1, which was probably silly of me as #4 was a sure thing and staring at me in the face if I had thought to look along further.
I used fumed as eliminator as I think I wanted to test F/M/D, felt totally at a loss with #7 but then again, we ask for something new so I should be happy I learnt a new word meaning today.

I shouldn’t laugh… but this was hilarious! 

You had the agave/agape dilemma which I avoided only because I’d used “p” in my eliminator.

Imago was certainly an unexpected word to pop up, and I’ll have to be on the alert for it in future.

Was fine till the 5th move, when I came to a full stop, so used an eliminator.

clamp. In hindsight I should have been able to guess #1, maybe in time I would have but I had digit running through my head and I knew that wasn't right so the eliminator was to help on other things and come back to #1.
Then of course a mistake on 2nd last turn with bilge instead of liege.
I think I was caught with that last time. Surely next time bilge will have a moment!

Three eliminating words ina  row. You know how much octordle loves that sort of behaviour. But nothing felt clear cut. Lucky I didn't have a go at anythinmg as I nwas thinking argue for #7 and maybe stamp #1.

I’m exceptionally pleased with how this unfolded like a logic flower. Only the final word (3L, aka your #6) posed a 1 in 2 choice, and I guessed correctly.

I was solving away quite happily for about the first half, then the brain shut down.
#2 was driving me mad as I had all the letters but took me a while to put it together, even knowing H was probably at thye start.
Then a mistake on #5.
And at the end, I needed another eliminator to solve #6. I wasn't game to just have a stab at it as I was in danger of running out of turns.
All in all, I thought I was lucky to get 56, thought it would be higher, for sure.
