WORDLE - anyone else trying the daily online word game?

I recently stumbled across WORDLE online.  For the uninitiated, it is a daily word guessing game where you have to try to guess the word in 6 or less tries.

This, from Wikipedia, explains the game:

Every day, a five-letter word is chosen which players aim to guess within six tries. After every guess, each letter is marked as either green, yellow or gray: green indicates that letter is correct and in the correct position, yellow means it is in the answer but not in the right position, while gray indicates it is not in the answer at all. The game has a "hard mode" option, which requires players to include letters marked as green and yellow in subsequent guesses. The daily word is the same for everyone. The game also has a dark mode as well as a high-contrast theme for colourblind accessibility, which changes the color scheme from green and yellow to orange and blue.

I have found that most that most days I can get the daily word in 5 tries or less (mostly 5 though).  Interestingly, there is a spinoff of WORDLE called LEWDLE, where the words are lewd, or naughty, words.  I have better success with LEWDLE than I do with WORDLE . . . getting the word in just 2 or 3 attempts.  Not sure what that says about my private school education 🤣

I was at a loss towards the end. I felt I needed m/p  d  w exposed and would like to have done y as well but thought I could assume it. I thought #6 would probably be moody or woozy and alas, #8 could not be fudgy. So I went with mowed as eliminator.
Then 'inspiration' struck at the end. Aha, boozy.
Ah well, certainly gave the alphabet an almost full work out today. Surprised the score was as low as 55.

Omega fell into my lap, but thee are t doesn’t mean the remaining words were obliging. Ennui was a leap - but it’s certainly doing the rounds lately.

Then wrong… no way to tell whether it was prong or wrong… except by guessing.

Brawl was fine (d ruled out, so it wasn’t drawl). Boost - it came down to s or y.

Plunging straight in to 5 correct words in a row without requiring an eliminator was a wonderful start. But all too soon an eliminator was needed, and it didn’t narrow things down as much as I’d wanted. If I’d used GUNKY instead of DUNGY, it would have been so much better.

There wasn't anything after turn 2 that I felt was a sure thing, so with reluctance I went with another eliminator.
Then right at the end I still felt beaten by #7 (greed/freed) and #2 (stall/stalk) so eliminator gawky.

I felt up against the clock today. I have to leave soon, which is later than normal as I don't have to be at my son's quite as early, but time is ticking away, so I took some risks to hurry things along.

On the whole, this game was easier for me.

So I got a bit lucky with this one.
