WORDLE - anyone else trying the daily online word game?

I recently stumbled across WORDLE online.  For the uninitiated, it is a daily word guessing game where you have to try to guess the word in 6 or less tries.

This, from Wikipedia, explains the game:

Every day, a five-letter word is chosen which players aim to guess within six tries. After every guess, each letter is marked as either green, yellow or gray: green indicates that letter is correct and in the correct position, yellow means it is in the answer but not in the right position, while gray indicates it is not in the answer at all. The game has a "hard mode" option, which requires players to include letters marked as green and yellow in subsequent guesses. The daily word is the same for everyone. The game also has a dark mode as well as a high-contrast theme for colourblind accessibility, which changes the color scheme from green and yellow to orange and blue.

I have found that most that most days I can get the daily word in 5 tries or less (mostly 5 though).  Interestingly, there is a spinoff of WORDLE called LEWDLE, where the words are lewd, or naughty, words.  I have better success with LEWDLE than I do with WORDLE . . . getting the word in just 2 or 3 attempts.  Not sure what that says about my private school education 🤣

Today I had a good run with the octordles. I didn't feel overwhelmed with multiple choices. Often I could only think of one answer. Maybe there were others. probably were. Ignorance is bliss though, sometimes.😂

I was pleased to be able to solve a word on turn 2, but felt I needed another eliminator by turn 3. 
Probably just as well I did, because if I had had to guess, I was thinking lathe for #2.

This didn't seem to have too many traps. As I went through, I found that where I was debating between 2 possible words, the other answers eventually solved things for me.
I wasn't left with multiple choices.
I had been thinking #7 might be apart/adapt, but 'aptly' solved that one for me.
And I was convinced for a little while #5 would probably have -dge ending, but those possible words were all ruled out eventually.

I was dismayed by the threadbare rows after the eliminator. It seemed to be a terrible choice… but then I settled myself and saw what the answer to 1R must be. That kicked off the resolution to another - and so on.

Bison gave me ethos and bayou, which then resolved curve and also left no possibility for 2R other than snafu.

Looking at 2L, nothing would fit save for aptly, and that gave me 4L’s adapt in a nice clean finish.
