WORDLE - anyone else trying the daily online word game?

I recently stumbled across WORDLE online.  For the uninitiated, it is a daily word guessing game where you have to try to guess the word in 6 or less tries.

https://www.powerlanguage.co.uk/wordle/

This, from Wikipedia, explains the game:

Every day, a five-letter word is chosen which players aim to guess within six tries. After every guess, each letter is marked as either green, yellow or gray: green indicates that letter is correct and in the correct position, yellow means it is in the answer but not in the right position, while gray indicates it is not in the answer at all. The game has a "hard mode" option, which requires players to include letters marked as green and yellow in subsequent guesses. The daily word is the same for everyone. The game also has a dark mode as well as a high-contrast theme for colourblind accessibility, which changes the color scheme from green and yellow to orange and blue.

This abc news story has some tips for playing:

https://www.abc.net.au/news/2022-01-26/why-wordle-has-become-a-new-online-obsession/100782794

I have found that most that most days I can get the daily word in 5 tries or less (mostly 5 though).  Interestingly, there is a spinoff of WORDLE called LEWDLE, where the words are lewd, or naughty, words.  I have better success with LEWDLE than I do with WORDLE . . . getting the word in just 2 or 3 attempts.  Not sure what that says about my private school education ๐Ÿคฃ

Then I tackled 4R, which was either decal or fecal (US spelling of faecal) - and I thought it unlikely that Octordle would use fecal. (Possible but not as likely as its old favourite, decal.) Another piece of luck: I was right.

That was not a piece of luck, that was a given. I think it will be a long time before the Octordle makers have enough vapours to deal with fecal.๐Ÿ˜‚
I thought of fecal and decal but decal is much more their thing, not as... uncouth, in their eyes.
For some reason, I can't get to click out of the spoiler.

My very first thought after turn 1 was hovel, but then I realised it could be something like cruel.
So I went with my usual shout next, just to sort out the vowels, if nothing else.
Next i went with pricy, because.. leper, repel, creel
Then finally I tried lever, though it could have been revel, maybe others. But lever came to mind first.

10 ex.jpgThis was a more straightforward game for me.
My only moment of indecision came at the end.
#4 enjoy or envoy (I fancied envoy but my fancies are not always reliable)
#8, folly or jolly. No really strong hunch on this one, though they do seem to like jolly.

Rather than an eliminator, I decided to go for jolly. It would either be right or wrong but would solve the J issue in any case and leave the way clear.

EDITED to add that this is yesterdayโ€™s (Fridayโ€™s):

Wordle 1,574 3/6

โฌ›๐ŸŸจโฌ›โฌ›๐ŸŸจ

๐ŸŸฉโฌ›โฌ›๐ŸŸฉ๐ŸŸฉ

๐ŸŸฉ๐ŸŸฉ๐ŸŸฉ๐ŸŸฉ๐ŸŸฉ

There were still a lot of possible answers after my starter, but I could see only six contenders after the eliminator.

I was heavily inclined towards lever as the answer. Itโ€™s exactly the sort of sneaky resolution that Wordle uses. But logically, it could have been lover, or lower, or loper, or loser, or leper.

Soโ€ฆ I played envoy, and without any further ado put down jolly.
