WORDLE - anyone else trying the daily online word game?

I recently stumbled across WORDLE online.  For the uninitiated, it is a daily word guessing game where you have to try to guess the word in 6 or less tries.

This, from Wikipedia, explains the game:

Every day, a five-letter word is chosen which players aim to guess within six tries. After every guess, each letter is marked as either green, yellow or gray: green indicates that letter is correct and in the correct position, yellow means it is in the answer but not in the right position, while gray indicates it is not in the answer at all. The game has a "hard mode" option, which requires players to include letters marked as green and yellow in subsequent guesses. The daily word is the same for everyone. The game also has a dark mode as well as a high-contrast theme for colourblind accessibility, which changes the color scheme from green and yellow to orange and blue.

I have found that most that most days I can get the daily word in 5 tries or less (mostly 5 though).  Interestingly, there is a spinoff of WORDLE called LEWDLE, where the words are lewd, or naughty, words.  I have better success with LEWDLE than I do with WORDLE . . . getting the word in just 2 or 3 attempts.  Not sure what that says about my private school education 🤣

I did this before I came onto the ebay forum but your hint would not have helped me.  I know the answer now (eventually got it) but I still can't work out which 2 beautiful women.😅

That is the exact thing that happened to me the other day and even the word fifth looks familiar though I couldn't swear it was in the same game.

Quite often I have to write out the 5 slots like hangman and underneath the letters I have so far, before I can work it out. It gets so confusing, doesn't it, when you have about 10 lines of mixed results.

Yes, exactly! 

I am wondering if the games have a 'contact us' option. I feel like writing to them to suggest a few new words that they obviously don't have in their lists. I'm sick of the previous words recycled endlessly.

The second word ended up easy enough as I had 4 letters early on, but that first word, I was all over the place with till my very last turn.

I think this is my personal best score. I didn't actually solve it all much faster than plenty of other games but I started getting the answers from turn 3, 4, 5, 6 because I had most letters.

That final word though (which for me was the 2nd word or top right), I hadn't tried all the vowels and  uncovering that particular vowel on turn 11 finally put me on the right track.

Ohhhh, some tricky bits here.

I hadn’t ruled out P, but bottom right word helped me with top left; it also helped me with second block left by ruling out a letter. Second block right helped me with third row left.

Third block right has US spelling.

By the time I got to the top right word, even though I only had one green and two yellows, given what letters remained there could be only one possible answer.
