I recently stumbled across WORDLE online. For the uninitiated, it is a daily word guessing game where you have to try to guess the word in 6 or less tries.
https://www.powerlanguage.co.uk/wordle/
This, from Wikipedia, explains the game:
Every day, a five-letter word is chosen which players aim to guess within six tries. After every guess, each letter is marked as either green, yellow or gray: green indicates that letter is correct and in the correct position, yellow means it is in the answer but not in the right position, while gray indicates it is not in the answer at all. The game has a "hard mode" option, which requires players to include letters marked as green and yellow in subsequent guesses. The daily word is the same for everyone. The game also has a dark mode as well as a high-contrast theme for colourblind accessibility, which changes the color scheme from green and yellow to orange and blue.

I have found that most that most days I can get the daily word in 5 tries or less (mostly 5 though). Interestingly, there is a spinoff of WORDLE called LEWDLE, where the words are lewd, or naughty, words. I have better success with LEWDLE than I do with WORDLE . . . getting the word in just 2 or 3 attempts. Not sure what that says about my private school education 🤣

I was surprised by the word on the left - a pleasing newcomer in Dordle, I think.

That gave away bottom right and bottom left.
With top left, there were a couple of possibilities. I turned away from the possibility of robbery, and focused on what is, right now. (Gut feeling.)
Top right… it boiled down to two possibilities. One seemed more likely, so I chose that.

STALE DOUGH got me started, as they gave away blocks 2R, 2L and 3L.
I had only one green letter and no yellows for bottom left (4R), but looking at which letters remained unplayed, I deduced what the word must be. (Little smile of amusement here because I then recalled your faecal comment, springyzone.)
With 3R, I realised by a process of elimination what letters must be being used, and in playing that word, I gave myself just enough to know what unplayed letters must be in use for 1R (top right).
That in turn gave me enough to solve 4R (bottom left). The only question was… double letter or a group? I made my choice and luckily was correct.
That left only top left. There was one obvious answer and I played it.
Done!

In hindsight, it actually could have been many words, from my second word. I think I was very lucky this time.

I had a great start, and then then fell into odium. I used a completely ungenerous eliminator — oh well, it did tell me what letter was probably being used in 2nd position, but it was also possible that there was a doubling of one already in play. I used another eliminator to at least confirm or deny the letter in question, along with two other letters that must be ruled out.
At row 4, then, I knew four of the letters, and was faced with a double dilemma. The question was… which?

I was lucky to even get it in 5 as there were a few letters that could go on the middle.
This word surprised me as I think my earlier attempts were more logical choices.😁
I started with crime.
Crime does not pay, obviously.

Well, this was the first decent Dordle for a while.
My first guess (after my STARE starter) was a pleasingly logical one. Then it was all about elimination for the Left word… I used MOUND.

Hmmm… challenging.
My starter was CATER and my 2nd row eliminator was DOILY. I needed another eliminator at row 4, and luckily that gave me top left.
Bottom left was the trickiest. I had three letters. Based on the green letters in 2nd position and 4th position, I was sure that there was a repeat on the end. But was this the only repeat? I could see 3 possible words fitting what I had - of which two were anagrams of each other. One was another doubling.
I made my choice…
