WORDLE - anyone else trying the daily online word game?

I recently stumbled across WORDLE online.  For the uninitiated, it is a daily word guessing game where you have to try to guess the word in 6 or less tries.

This, from Wikipedia, explains the game:

Every day, a five-letter word is chosen which players aim to guess within six tries. After every guess, each letter is marked as either green, yellow or gray: green indicates that letter is correct and in the correct position, yellow means it is in the answer but not in the right position, while gray indicates it is not in the answer at all. The game has a "hard mode" option, which requires players to include letters marked as green and yellow in subsequent guesses. The daily word is the same for everyone. The game also has a dark mode as well as a high-contrast theme for colourblind accessibility, which changes the color scheme from green and yellow to orange and blue.

I have found that most that most days I can get the daily word in 5 tries or less (mostly 5 though).  Interestingly, there is a spinoff of WORDLE called LEWDLE, where the words are lewd, or naughty, words.  I have better success with LEWDLE than I do with WORDLE . . . getting the word in just 2 or 3 attempts.  Not sure what that says about my private school education 🤣

I feel a bit disappointed about this one.

I was happy at the start when I solved on turn 2. Put me in a  good mood.
But then I felt the need for an eliminator. S had been out, so i decided to use court. 
Of course, this meant I was missing the H and wouldn't you know it, H had to pop up in 3 words today.
But then, a mistake on #3 naval instead of banal.
And just like that, I was banished to 56. It's a cruel world!!😂

3L was down to giver, river, riser, wiser. I decided on riser; it would either be correct or it would leave me knowing the answer for the next go. In the event, riser was wrong and i did need that extra row.

Looking back on this, I really did take some risks but I was feeling quite pleased & confident after wordle was easier than it usually is for me.😂

Glint/flint
touch/tough. We've had this exact thing out before and it was touch then, too. I'll come a cropper one day by relying on their habits, but today was not that day, fortunately for me.

And testy. It was all I could think of. Later I looked at it and thought, good grief, terse.

Same with #1. I am sure relay was out recently. But later I realised I was lucky it wasn't delay.

The last word, I had been about ready to try viper.

So all in all, I bumbled through this with a whole lot of luck and blissful ignorance.

Same score, very different game.

I guess #1 could have been lairy but I didn't think it would be.

In this game, I had to stop for a while to think.
For #3, I sat there looking at a green HO and I must have tried every chon combo on the keyboard but nothing made sense till I moved on to phon.

I was torn between giver and mixer for #5 and I couldn't think of anything at all for #6 and when I finally did, it was wrong.
