WORDLE - anyone else trying the daily online word game?

I recently stumbled across WORDLE online.  For the uninitiated, it is a daily word guessing game where you have to try to guess the word in 6 or less tries.

This, from Wikipedia, explains the game:

Every day, a five-letter word is chosen which players aim to guess within six tries. After every guess, each letter is marked as either green, yellow or gray: green indicates that letter is correct and in the correct position, yellow means it is in the answer but not in the right position, while gray indicates it is not in the answer at all. The game has a "hard mode" option, which requires players to include letters marked as green and yellow in subsequent guesses. The daily word is the same for everyone. The game also has a dark mode as well as a high-contrast theme for colourblind accessibility, which changes the color scheme from green and yellow to orange and blue.

I have found that most that most days I can get the daily word in 5 tries or less (mostly 5 though).  Interestingly, there is a spinoff of WORDLE called LEWDLE, where the words are lewd, or naughty, words.  I have better success with LEWDLE than I do with WORDLE . . . getting the word in just 2 or 3 attempts.  Not sure what that says about my private school education 🤣

Some of these are repeat words that we have seen a few times before.

But the 3rd one had me puzzled. I was sure I had got it on my 9th turn. Luckily for me, solving #1 solved this one too, but afterwards I had to look up the meaning as it isn't a word I have come across before.

This was a funny one as after the second turn, I thought I had a hint of the likely pattern but the trouble was, more than one choice, so I went with the 3rd eliminator and was surprised actually, at the letter it exposed.

But it solved it.

Well, let's just say this wasn't my finest hour.🤣

One wrong (but sensible enough guess). One stupid guess. I was extremely lucky to get through it actually as with word 6, I still had a couple of other possibilities left and just had to make my best guess.

My starter was anything but helpful, and although my eliminator was an excellent one, realistically I was facing a battle.

But I looked at the letters I had, deciding on the most likely position for that yellow, and then deciding on another letter that was likely… 

I chose a strong possibility that felt right.

I was sorely tempted to just go for it after the first word, as 2 possibilities immediately popped into my mind.

But my usual second word would cover both so in the end, I went with it and just as well, as it turned up a letter I had not been expecting.

I was happy with this. No mistakes anywhere.

I started solving at turn 3, but used another eliminator at turn 4, which was quite helpful but the Bot doesn't like eliminators too early in the game.
