The reason of this thread is to get some rationality into the operation of this forum and the people using it.
In the past there was diversity, vibrancy, useful information exchange, fun and a place for debate on many and varied issues on all levels. That was the past.
It now has undergone metamorphosis and turned into a pit of egg shells that people have to try to pick their way through.
You might think that egg shells are not so bad but on closer examination you find that there may be a viper under the one that you have inadvertently stepped on and cracked and now the viper is loose and running rampant striking at random at anything that moves.
Under other egg shells there are landmines that explode and spread acid to disfigure everyone in range.
Under other egg shells lurks the “Report Abuse” button. A very useful mechanism safeguard contributors of content in the forum when used in the manner intended.
Unfortunately this innocent and useful mechanism is the most insidious and destructive weapon of mass destruction when in the hands of someone intent on malice.
Due to its structure and operation it attributes anonymity to the user, and rightly so, when used as intended.
When this mechanism is misused it still attributes anonymity allowing the misuser to strike again and again without detection.
Anonymity now becomes an insidious weapon. Anonymity is used by a person, let’s call that person “C” against person “A” and “B”
“A” and “B” disagree on a point in a discussion or debate, “C” seeing the opportunity to cause havoc reports both “A” and “B” and they get warned “A” now thinks that “B” was the reporter and blames “B” and visa-versa neither are aware that it was that it was an unrelated third person so the issue escalates.
Under other egg shells hide the multiple choice report options which make the task of the moderators task too easy and leads to laxity.
Discussion please, but do it within board guidelines please so that we do not look like unruly rabble

Hmmmm..... if that is the case I must have multiple "fans" because i get a constant streem of fan mail 😞

I use to walk on eggshells but my two main trolls have now been removed and I post freely once again...
I do however have one person going through my post and randomly reporting for the most obscure reasons.... funny that I had not seen them for a week or two and I have not had a post reported since.... lets wait and see what happens now they are back...
I can't think of a single reason why you would get reported cats. You post what you think, you don't nasty snipe, I enjoy reading your posts.
I post what I think, I don't nasty snipe, but it's not appreciated by some who regulary send me off on a holiday.

Thanks Silver... unfortunately if you don't word it correctly they can get you... I have given up appealing because they don't even reply these days. It has gotten to the point that if I get suspended I don't care....

The first improvement should obviously be removing multiple naru posters who use multiple IDs to troll, IMO.
Especially ones that live in gagaland that have metamorphosed from a wizard playing dungeons and dragons in to a viper with a mechanism of mass destruction :^O
There you go. An amazing improvement.
PS I already have a withdrawal of warning for last nights slap.

So you should have J if it was undeserved. Keep up the good work and alert the mods to unjust warnings 🙂

lmao, its funny to read how posters blame eachother on slaps
there are lurkers out too specifically doing just that for whatever their reasons, nobody can be sure whose doing the reporting at any given time

I'm well aware of that Joz. It could be anyone.

I think some love the drama and prolly look for it, all these types of threads get started and I dont see any of what the threads go on about.
