I must say I like the OP coming in here for a chat. Makes a great change from all the political posting and gets us talking about many things that are beyond Mankinds' limited grasp at present. I don't agree with a lot the OP has mentioned however I do think we are not, at least to some extent, told all of what is known by our higher authorities.

Odd thing is, my father started to write a book about 30 years ago, about mankind having been sent to Earth from different planets / galaxies. Therefore all the different races, skin colours, customs and languages. Earth may have been used as a Penal Colony, much as Australia was for England. If this would have been the case, no wonder there has never been peace on Earth.

And throughout history, there has never been any concrete evidence found about human evolution. If humans evolved from apes, then apes should not be around anymore.

Unfortunately my father passed before he could finish the book. I would have loved to hear his conclusion. Today my father would be 106 years old.

An ex airline pilot-Bruce Cathie-wrote a few books on ufos etc

Sorry to hear your father passed away before he had the chance to finish the book. It would have been an interesting read.

My belief is this: 

I believe that planet earth is only a colony of a much greater super-earth, our origin is from there. We have simply been planted here we just don't know it yet. I'm sure this is what will be discovered in the future.

A galactic race capable of travelling at the speed of light could have set this up. Why? there could be a number of reasons. Maybe they want to see what we're capable of inventing and doing. We could be an experiment. A food source? Maybe a project for their leader. My guess is the aliens on the super-earth look exactly like us.

Space travel will become much faster for us soon. A trip to mars takes 8 months but with the fusion engine we can do it in 30 days.
