Weekly Musical Theme Competition

(To compliment the weekly photo challenges, 'cept this one's friday to friday)

The idea is to select a youtube video [or videos from any site] that associates with the chosen theme

(Embed videos are fine)

Preferably in the lyrics, it can be in the heading of the song title, as long as the song or the track is about the chosen theme.

I'll kick off this weeks theme with "Food"...

The poster who recieves the most kudos wins and chooses the next theme.

(no other prizes, sorry :-D)

My advice would be to select a tune that most age groups would like to hear to recieve the most hits

Do you think the embedded makes the page slow to loud ..I am having trouble

Would a new thread for each theme make it better or not?

I'm finding the same thing Annie, half the time I can't open the thread on my phone, the page shuts down.

Ello Annie, I woulda thought a page itself might be slow to load rather than the entire thread though loading is fine on my end.

I was thinking of making a new thread in any case with guide lines so it can run by itself

the winner can just go ahead and post a new theme without the need of my announcements etc

its a pain lis ..there are some good songs !

maybe just the title ,artist and song again ..

thats what i ment joe ... when you open the thread the page is slow as a wet week !

I'm fine with just the title of the song/ artist posted, Annie

providing it's accompanied by the video 'link'

Coz i'm sure others & like meself it saves the hassle of doing any searches to make judgements

& embeds should be fine to post also if each theme is going to be reduced to one thread
