Joz, in the early 1950's, most of the UK's individual motor vehicle manufacturers were incorporated into a holding company called The British Motor Corporation Ltd., and this included such iconic brands as Austin, Morris, MG, Riley, Wolseley, Austin-Healey, Vanden Plas, and Princess.

Upon acquiring Jaguar in 1966, BMC changed its name to British Motor Holdings Limited or BMH then in May 1968, merged with Leyland Motor Corporation Limited, which made trucks and buses and were owners of Standard-Triumph International Limited, BMH becoming the major part of what had become the British Leyland Motor Corporation.

My Dad had a Zephyr 6 (Z car)  bought new and had it for many years before he sold it. I don't know much about cars at all but I didn't think those other 2 cars were Zephyr's. It was dark blue.

Twinkles, if introduced Indian Mynahs are interfering with your local indigenous bird population, depending upon where you live, your local council may be running a Mynah eradication program in which case they will loan you (at no charge) a special wire trap with 2 compartments which makes it extremely difficult for these very intelligent birds to escape.

The only really unsavoury aspect of trapping Mynahs is the fact that you are expected to use your car's exhaust to gas them yourself, but it's a small price to pay if you want to see our native birds returning to areas which had previously been taken over completely by the aggressive and territorial Indian Mynahs.
