Great photo twinkles - couldn't get any more "shoey" than that!  Reminds me of the trees along the Nullabor - there's an undie tree & a hat tree and I think a shoe tree as well.

I wonder if anyone helps themselves to a pair of shoes off the fence if they are in good condition and their size?

Yep Deb - they are a few hundred kms apart - here is a pic of the shoe one (I did not take it).  I think there was a soft toy one as well.

From memory there was a sign around the corner for a cobbler? Or similar. ... in the middle of no where! My friend and I thought it very funny at the time and I had forgotten about the pic until searching through my files.

am*3 I have my grown childrens first shoes too but not sure I can get to them at the moment. Such special memories to keep and so pleased I didn't have them brozed which was the thing at the time.
