Some examples of abstract photography can be seen HERE
Abstract Photography
Like abstract art, Abstract photography concentrates on shape, form, colour, pattern and texture. The viewer is often unable to see the whole object. The focus is often only a small part of it. Viewers of an abstract shot may only know the essence of the abstraction or understand it by what is implied. Normally the object or image will not be a literal view of the subject. The subject tends to come second to seeing…

They're building a railway across the road from our office block.
The construction site is all earthmoving machinery moving piles of dirt around, cranes lifting blocks of concrete, pipes, cyclone fencing and this:
little tomato plant flourishing amongst all the rubble

I keep changing my mind and going back and seeing things I like in the pics.
I think the even spread of votes really shows that we all have different interpretations.
I've been trying for a colourful entry but havent got there yet. It is a long weekend though....

I'm struggling a bit this week for photos, it's dark by the time I get home from work. I'm not a fan of the onboard camera flash and I don't have a separate one at this stage. Just finding it hard to get the time, so I snapped a couple on the phone today during my lunch break, they've both had the instagram treatment.
This one is detail of a lamp that a very creative dear friend made and gave me.
