Some examples of abstract photography can be seen HERE
Abstract Photography
Like abstract art, Abstract photography concentrates on shape, form, colour, pattern and texture. The viewer is often unable to see the whole object. The focus is often only a small part of it. Viewers of an abstract shot may only know the essence of the abstraction or understand it by what is implied. Normally the object or image will not be a literal view of the subject. The subject tends to come second to seeing…

re: art glass...
you're welcome tcmsecretuseid.
i always include 1893kathryn in my collections.
personally i'd rather the glass than the pic, especially the ones with more that one colour.
when i see the swirls of colour i think of the process and the artist who created it.
but it's not just the colour, it's the solidity and weight of the object that i find attractive.
check out this pic of an item kathryn sold for nearly $600...
as a pic it also suits this challenge.

Dale Chihuly is the artist who made the glass in my photo, Solutions. Look him up on youtube.
