This is an odd one. A couple of years ago I realised that one of the Camellias was at deaths door and probably needed to come out. When I did finally get around to it this is what I found.
Not a single leaf on the tree but just one lonely bloom. I was quite amazed.
The tree has mostly recovered now although it is struggling a bit ater a long and very dry summer.
One solitary pigeon competing for a feed with a couple of dozen hungry and pushy rainbow lorikeets.
A solitary ghost gum at Dangar Falls near Dorrigo, NSW, shot at 15x zoom (see thumbnail below for wide-angle view).
It's a little piece of art, a gift from an artist mate of mine.
