Apologies for my abscence. It is cotton harvest in my part of the world, so a very busy time.
You all know the rules. Flashie has picked a great theme this weeks with the hopes of everyone being able to find something to enter.

I have an FZ20 (I think) non removable lens. I need new batteries for it, but they are proving elusive.
The turtle took a lot of patience. I was laying on the road for quite a while waiting for him to stop hiding.

I got mine just before the next one came out but i just saw an ad for it on ebay and it was less than half of what i paid. i won't buy another one for ages, it's pretty good.

This is a camellia, I think it might be unique, as the people before us were prize-winning growers who concocted new varieties. There are a few experiments here 🙂

Thank you, that is why I picked that one 🙂 looks just like that to me, too. Just had a look at some Hibiscus, the stamen is quite different, and there are fewer petals...perhaps that was the aim. A camellia to rival the Hibiscus 🙂
