The plastic on my fridge, oven and microwave all have a tinge of yellow whilst the metal parts are still nice and white,

whirlpool is a yanky company, they might build things differently over there

of course the door skins must be metal otherwise those fridge magnets wouldnt stick, lol

Not sure I understand what whirlpool and the US  has to do with it, My 3 items are all different brands and I live in Aus.

the plastic trims on my fridge hasnt yellowed, the metal door skins have

where is on your white goods you say the plastic have yellowed

mebbe its because of different materals used depending on which country the white goods were originally made

ohhhh ahhhh that's where my maternal ancestors come from. They kept moving back and forth from Italy to Switzerland. In fact when they lived in Italy they'd cross over to Switzerland to pick up laundry. lol One day I'm going to go to Lake Como.
