I've managed to lose 1.6 kg in about 5 weeks, so I am feeling pretty happy at the moment.
(I don't weigh myself every week in case I have a weight gain like pimpy! LOL)
Now I just have to keep on going......

miss pimpernel, and everyone,
it's best when weighing to be consistent.
weight changes through the day.
wear the same type of clothing, and weigh yourself at around the same time of the day...
as one is heavier at the end of the day as a rule, and then there are meals, exercise, etc. that can affect the weight reading.
because no, the eggsies won't have caused 1.5kg increase in a day ๐

It is best to weigh yourself, first thing in the morning of your selected day, before you eat or drink anything & once a week.

I know ppl say dont weigh but I have no other way of seeing how I going - my clothes are baggy baggy ones every day!

Ladies you should really only weigh yourself once per week, same day, same time otherwise it can be a real downer if you weigh everyday and see the seesaw weight business going on.

It's a difficult time of the year to start losing weight. Winter is on it's way and this is the time the body wants to store it's fat.
Keep it up because it can still be done and then come springtime, it's all going to drop straight off.

I still have not bought new scales, had to lay off the treadmill due to my foot pain but my size 14 pants are loose, so hopefully something is working. I am having my main meal at lunch and no food after 6pm.

I have hit a brick wall, I seem to be sitting on the same weight for about 3 or 4 day's then it drops. I weigh every morning, by weighing daily I get a better idea of how i'm doing.

Yes, I weigh myself every morning as well freddie. It helps spur me on to do better, especially if I haven't lost a few grams.
I am on a bit of a plateau at the moment - have had holidays, and lots of parties so I think I'm going pretty good to stay the same at the moment. I still walk every day and I don't eat anything with sugar in it.

If I only weighed weekly I could quite easily put on 3kg in a week, so by weighing daily in the same clothing at the same time I stay on track.
