Who should they target first? Or last?

Actually he was critising the online posts about killing Tony Abbott, the ABC promoting that JJJ show where a Tony Abbott figure got his head chopped off?

The hate pages that call for Tony Abbott to be assasinated, or his daughters to be raped....

And the left media not saying anything about it.... not calling them to account...

You can twist it anyway you like but those are the facts...

Honestly how is it fair to target those on a disability support pension?  These types of  pensions are NOT given out willy nilly.

I disagree with you s_w I have met some so called disblled who are having a holiday on the taxpayer's purse

I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

but that is a genuine condition . it is an illness..

prejudice is unhelpful,  what if i were to say all suffering from MI should be first on the list ? does it have any more or less validity as a point ?

adding to spots:

Those who negative gear.
Small business owners that claim all and sundry even though the claimed amounts are not used for deriving income.
Lift the capital gains tax to where it was.
Dump the health care rebate for households on $200,000 or more.
Ditch the mining industry handouts.
Phase out the private employnent agencies and bring back the CES.That whole industry is a big fat scam. Its costing the taxpayer billions

There,I've just improved the bottom line by at least $17 billion.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

not sure what the 'term' used should be for this category.....but what about the wealthy retired pension aged.....who receive Gold Cards ....and get senior cards.....yet might be earning $1000's every month off their investments....

Shouldn't these people be subjected to a means testing thing?.....might be a small % of popln but there would have to be some fairness in this?

.....probably be targeting all the retired pollies!!! LOL

LL any addiction is self induced and in most cases it is a cop-out, a mechanism to avoid reality.

Well then Poddster they've obviously pulled the wool over doctors and specialists eyes if they are recieving DSP and dont have a legitimate disability.

But I agree with the poster who said get rid of the JOb network providers.  Lets face it, it's not in their interest to get you (as in any unemployed person) a job.  If everyone has jobs they will be the ones who are unemployed...

lol.. I don't care if it is an illness, get over it... go get help.. why should the taxpayer have to pay for anyone to have a drug addiction?

and it is not prejudice, I had an addiction and I never went on welfare. Why should they get a free ride just because they know how to play the system?

I could not get on it when I was unable to work. I could not even walk three house blocks with arthritis and was told that BiPolar did not mean I could not work even though at that time with both conditions flaring up I couldn't. I even had two doctors and two specialists to back me up... Yet have a drug addiction and you get the tick.
