Met some lovely people, strong women doin it so hard

Went to 2 orphanages OMG Gorgeous kids, wanted to bring em all back!

Saw some beautiful country and ate weird but (some) nice food

Had a crack at BBQ grasshoppers LOL

Great weather and did some good shopping for the kids - had to leave my Aussie clothes & shoes there, couldnt fit it all in, ha ha

Burma was scary, I didnt like it

Laos was good, very interesting

Thailand (Chiang Mai) up North I loved, VERY different from Phuket

All in all was interesting and Im glad I went but I wont ever do it again ๐Ÿ™‚

'......they believe up there: "The blacker the face, the lower the race"

even on scorching hot days, 'over-dressed' Asian people always astounded me but i've since learnt the more clothes Asians wear, the wealthier they are

Grandmoon hasn't logged onto the boards in over a year.

How exciting donna.

Myanmar (formerly Burma) is a Southeast Asian nation of more than 100 ethnic groups, bordering India, Bangladesh, China, Laos and Thailand. Yangon (formerly Rangoon), the country's largest city, is home to bustling markets, numerous parks and lakes, and the towering, gilded Shwedagon Pagoda.

Itโ€™s truly wonderful so far kopes, we spent a few days in Yangon and weโ€™re currently on a bus to Pyay which is the only unesco site in Myanmar.
