I saw this posted on my Facebook page. So much for his promise to stop the boats. Seems like we might have a few more landing on our shores now.
SERIOUS CONSEQUENCES: There could be an influx of asylum seekers in the wake of Australia’s spying scandal.
A senior Indonesian immigration official has apparently told local media he will no longer take measures to stop asylum seekers trying to reach our waters.
We’ll bring you full political coverage tonight in our evening bulletin on Channel 9.

None of it can cover the facts. The monumental failure of Labor is not something the voters can forgive or forget in a hurry.
______________
I am wondering...
If Labor was such a failure, then how come the Coalition have yet to put into place and policies or strategies and nor have they issued any statements of intent to show us how they are going to 'fix' the 'failures'?
I fact they seem to be very quiet on every subject other than the one they know 'best' and have failed at spectacularly - the boats and the CT.
Perhaps they found things weren't quite as dire as they shouted?

Even with all this debacle Mr Abbott still looks better than the Rudd/Gillard/Rudd Circus, neither of which could find their bottoms if they used both hands.

Goodness .... they've named a mountain after the PM ? Already ?
I suppose they have some things in common - immovable, inflexible, mute, slow to react, gets in the way ....
