Perhaps the most insightful comment I have yet seen on the current election campaign.

I get what he is saying and agree to an extent, but what then happens is you get the "side" with the most fanatics, not the best ideas or policies, running the country.
What would happen if everyone in the unaligned middle, where fiscal prudence, individual responsibility and social tolerance live voted informally?

Forget the two leaders and look at the party policies and if you don't cast a formal vote for any party you do not have the right to complain about either of the parties

Thanks She ele...
@Lurker, All those voters in the middle will have to vote for the indies and minor parties.
More minority parliaments can only be good for the country.
Mature responsible people should be able to work together, negotiate for the best outcome and compromise a little. The politicians we elect should be capable of debating and negotiating the best outcome, not chucking hissy fits and blaming a hung parliament. It's only hung if the opposition make it so. This opposition have done nothing to demonstrate their worth in Parliament. I will not give my vote to the childish bullies that have done their best to undermine our democratic process and bring down a government because they consider they "was robbed"
