Re: What LABOR MP don't you ever want to listen to again :(

Quite honestly, I think MOST of ALL the MPs sound awful.  If they're on the radio too long I tend to turn it off and get out of bed.  So much hatred and anger in their voices ...

I could listen to Penny Wong all day long ... and I used to love listening to Bob Brown ...  and these days I enjoy hearing Malcolm Fraser on occasion ...

Does he have a speech impediment ? If so should that rule someone out of a Political career do you think ?

No it is not a speech impediment.. it is lazy talk...

There are a few MP's that I know of that have speech impediments but I can easily tell and it does not bother me...

sometimes he gets the words right... he can say them correctly... but most of the time he is lazy.. and funny thing is that when he is on the full on attack of the opposition is when it comes out most so it is like a five yr old having a rant...

In a world-first exercise, the speaking abilities of 61 Australian politicians have been analysed and reviewed, including that of all the leading federal and state representatives.

Each one was assessed and compared according to 21 core speech skills, including content, articulation, resonant placement, speech rate, musicality and tonality. Their dominant components, strengths, weaknesses and extra skills were also identified.

her diction is rather good, its the victorian accent that irks people. the truth is rabbitt referred to his  promiscuity, she was merely covering her tracks. as for her being a bogan.. what rubbish.
