So the rabbit has just raced in the house from the back yard faster than I have ever seen him run with this black thing running behind it. In the blur it looked like a panther!
It was a freaking cat!
I've just spent the last 20mins trying to make the terrified rabbit safe whilst trying to get this stray cat out of my house. I had to boot the cat to get him to move away from the rabbit. And then he wouldn't leave the house.
The rabbit refuses to come out of his hiding spot and my leg is bleeding from being clawed by this blooming cat.
What the heck! It's not like the rabbit is a tiny little thing that could be mistaken for a mouse.
Why can't people keep their stupid cats inside? I am sick to death of not being able to keep my own pets safe and secure in their own house because people allow their cats to roam during the day.

I can understand people being concerned about the cat too

The poor little puddy cat was born in a large family with a neglectful mother. Lonely and impoverished, he lived on the streets.... all he wanted was someone to love him. One day, while peering through a fence looking for discarded hamburgers, he saw a little puddy cat with long ears. "A friend!", he thought, so he scurried over the fence to play.
His new friend ran inside, so naturally he followed. "Can I play with you, little puddy with big ears?", he politely, but slightly mental healthly, asked his new buddy... but it crawled under a table.
Of course he tried to follow, but suddenly he was set upon by a monstrous being in purple fluffy slippers. BOOT BOOT KICK! :_|

If you ran at me screaming like a fish mongers wife, twirling a towel around like a helicopter blade I to would be scared out of my wits and I am intelligent.
Are you a cat?

if the cat was intelligent, and truly scared, it would have run away the first time it got booted,
next we will get people saying the cat will be needing counselling for post traumatic stress disorder:^O
Yes, of course it would, no one was obstructing it from leaving the house.
I did wonder above if there are humans who work as cat therapists.:^O

Did someone mention counselling? For the cat?
Hello??? What about ME?
I think I am going to need a good therapist after this thread is through...

I am surprised that fairy tale above didn't have the OP wearing steel capped boots, not purple fluffy slippers.

Yep, bunny might need one too, after that evil cat attacked him IN HIS OWN HOME.
