Why are there so many idiotic people around? What evolutionary advantage do they bring out?
e.g.

OK if you want to include this, it's not just our current situation where they are nurtured, our ancestors took care of their mentally challenged as well

Yes they did. Normally by leaving them exposed on a hill in the middle of winter. They certainly didn't have social mores that allowed them to breed.
If you want to know facts about evolution, I can point you to relevant sources. Like 'The Origin of Species'

So you agree now, changed your mind hey?! LOL
Why be so condescending?
I was being perfectly on topic as well

Methinks you better re-read your own history

I don't agree.
And if I'm being condescending it's because the information is readily available to people who aren't dumb. Which you claim not to be.
If you want a treatise on evolution (the subject of this thread), I am more than happy to cite chapter, verse and peer-reviewed theory. As it's science, it can never be better than theory, sorry. Even when unable to be refuted it's still theory. Like Einstein's Theories of relativity. The nuclear bomb wouldn't be possible if they weren't true, but they're still theory. Apparently.
Or Newton's 'laws'. Just theory.

Haha, I was thinking when I saw the topic, what a profound question. Some creative poster must've come up with this.
I dont' even remember posting this. Seems like I was smarter back then. I must've dumbed down. Yet I feel like I know more now. Must be the Dunning Kruger effect at work.

Evolvution has made us more so not to run on instinct
And if that is realised this topic is just blah blah blah
There were always and there will always be "dumb" people as you put it

Yeah?!
Shows us where you claim:-

A comment which leads me to suspect that lateral thinking is a product of intelligence, not eductaion.
Icyfroth wrote:Intelligence will out. Many successful people of our time have been poorly educated, yet made their mark on society. See Greta Thunberg.
What makes you think Greta Thunberg is poorly educated?
Greta Thunberg missed a lot of her schooling to pursue her climate change activism.
Not a bad effort - 14 As and 3 Bs - and one year off
