Yoda, You shook your head back there. Some argued strongly that it would do no psychological harm. There have been studies that show otherwise.I found them interesting .Also of interest imo is that women as young as 20 are being charged .
Iza, The OP has been back to this thread and has pointed out that there is NO sexual contact being made, NO alcohol involved and all that has occurred is a text message with one asking the other would they like to go out. Please read posts 123, 124, 125
Your whole argument that you constantly wish to jam down everyones throat about Child Sexual Abuse is pointless as it has nothing to do with the question asked.
Nothing more than waffle

Yes Yoda, the OP did post that last night ๐
Until then the posters carried on with the discussion with issues raised in page 1.As a parent they are of interest and concern to me...if they aren't to you, perhaps don't read them
Crystal, I don't know what is in those text messages (???) ,however a recent thread made me think of the possibilty of a parent reading those requests for their child to 'meet up' and how they may take it.That phone would be registered in the parents name I would assume? The main thing is how they feel about it I suppose. There is a possibility that they may be OK ...maybe not.

At least I don't need a back up gang who take turns to pop into threads and back up my lame posts.
You may not need them to back up your lame posts but they come nonetheless.
It comes under the banner of 'expressing one's own opinion' - as you so frequently do - or 'posting something they see as relating to the topic' (whether you agree or not) so should they also erroneously be called a 'gang' simply because they agree with your 'opinions'?
Thankfully not all posters agree with your 'opinions' and are not constrained so to do. They are, as you are, quite entitled to express those opinions and they do so, independently and without malice ๐

Ok so our teens have sex any way so just let them have it with whoever because the law doesn't count. While you are at it lets just let our teens drink, smoke dope and do what they like because they'll do it anyway.
That is such a poor argument I mean seriously, teens need boundaries and if they are involved with adults playing adult games we need to as parents step up to the mark and say its not ok.
totally agree

'posting something they see as relating to the topic'
You obviously missed that :^O
'No one is fooled.'
Speaking for all posters and lurkers I see :^O
'Post anything you like directed at me, it means nothing.' :^O
As is my privilege, I will continue to post as I see fit, independently ..... despite your response :^O

i hope you are not referring to me as a back up posted hawk, cause i pride myself on here now as being a person who posts my thoughts and opinions only and i dont care who agrees or disagrees
My post didn't refer to yours. It referred to the one above, which are aimed at me and appear regular as clockwork.

Not at all Amy, I know your opinions are yours and you are only posting what you honestly believe and I respect your right to do so ๐
