but something to think about when casting your vote.
My personal view is that each person should be able to decide their own future in both these cases.
But in case you don't wish to share your own views I have added a poll.
If Tony gets in your choice will be very limited.

I believe that abortion should be freely available everywhere in the country and covered under Medicare.
I think gay marriage should be legal and give equal rights to straight marriages.

Margo, I dont think your poll is working. I can only vote on one issue. I'd like to vote on both.

That's odd meep I voted on both but I did it in the same post, did you try to make 2 different posts?

Margo, you can only vote once in polls .

MM: "What are your views on Abortion and gay marriage, not a political thread
" something to think about when casting your vote."
" If Tony gets in your choice will be very limited."
Having just dug out my Oxford/Roget's for FN & IS, I will now look up "oxymoron"

Abortion - I wouldn't do it myself but I think women have the right to choose. But I also think it should be controlled.
Gay marriage - Absolutely. No question on whether that should be a right for gay couples.

Not political at all cat I don't do politics or even read the threads but occasionally a subject interests me and these two things do, people are so divided about both things.
It is political because you mentioned TA, and what might happen if he is elected.

So how do you know peoples choices on gay marriage and abortion will be very limited if TA is elected? You must do 'some' politics to know that.
JG doesnt' support gay marriage either, shouldn't you have mentioned that too?
Anyway, useless poll, when there are two topics and you can't vote for you opinion on both topics.

No am I only know because I am in the unfortunate position of my husband having politics on the TV from 8am to 8pm, unless I use ear plugs it is impossible not to hear some of what is going on.
Today all they are talking about is that tacky menu that freaky posted in another thread.
