My response has always been to offer them the use of my kitchen and its contents while the rest of us eat. I'm not Burger King, I'm Lala. And there's a Burger King down the road a piece.

My daughter is vegetarian and has been since she was 14 yo
It's not hard.
Any vegetarian will tell you - just cook extra vegies and keep the meat away from them.
I often have a 'Clayton's' Roast - just vegies, no meat. Gravox is not meat derived so is ok for vegetarians.
We should be cutting down on meat consumption. Too much is not good for you.
I might eat red meat once a week. Quite happy eating just vegies. It wasn't always so.
Protein can be sourced from lots of foods instead of meat.

A friend of mine decided to go vegetarian on moral grounds, she's a great animal lover as am i but I still eat meat occasionally. .
She stayed on it for a month then became unwell and the doc told her she was badly anaemic and missing iron.
So she went out and got the biggest T Bone she could find
So many ppl just think it's just a case of cutting out meat from the diet but it's so important to replace the iron with the correct veggies.

Yes, iron is important.
Green leafy vegies - i.e. spinach, silver beet etc, also, mushrooms, potatoes, and more.
All contain iron.
But there's nothing wrong with a supplement every now and then.

Does she eat white meat eg chicken? My eldest daughter is also a vegetarian but she doesn't eat red or white meat

Who is consuming too much?
I'll have balanced meals that includes meat (me likes it) each day
The only issue I see with meat is animal farming that heavily impacts on the environment
methane gas etc etc
