how come that catholics symbolically eat the flesh and drink the blood of their god every sunday, but on on goodfriday they aren't allowed to eat the symbol of their god (lamb)?
does not make sense to me but i guess that's the whole point of believing instead of logical thinking.

to me easter means fake christianity. take the immigration minister who rambled on and on about his faith in his maiden parliamentary speech and since gaining his portfolio has proven what a fraud that speech was. his PM and cabinet colleagues who claim to be men of faith have also proven that their ambition overrides any semblance of this lie. one could be excused for thinking they meant they were followers of 'the other guy' .

Trust someone to try and make a political thread out of this.
I was educated a Catholic and remember being dragged around the church doing the Stations of the Cross so depressing.
It was supposed tobe such a gloomy day, if you laughed you practically were guaranteed to go to hell.
I quit the religion years ago but respect the believers, though not for me.
