What does it mean when someone calls you a cream puff?

I believe it used to mean weak willed, now I think it means gay!.......... The 2 meanings together are suggestive tho', and are therefore inappropriate!

I always thought it meant you were a real softy.... if it was said in a nasty way, it could mean you are a push over - spineless and weak willed.
