Criky I personally have never had a cent from welfare and if things don't change I never will.
I have paid in tax what some people earn in a year and still pay heaps, but I still have empathy for those that need extra help via welfare and my taxes.
What you claim to be trying to do many have been there and done it, but don't begrudge those that haven't for what ever reason, not everyone can be on the top of the heap and its not because they haven't done the best they could or didn't try.
I'm sorry, but you've confused me. I have no idea where this has come from. I think I need you to use a bigger texta to join the dots.
Are you talking about the welfare system?
What am I trying to do?
What and whom am I begrudging?
The thought that just sprang to mind for me here was Glen Houseman. There is no doubt in my mind that he put in just as much effort, as much hard work as Perkins, yet nobody gave him any medals that he didn't "earn". Perkins was still allowed to rise to the top without penalty and claim the rewards (ie the gold medals), nobody tried to take any of his medals off of him to redistribute so that everybody got a fair share.
