At this point in time, myNBN is unable to update its database due to a lack of transparency by NBN Co. Data sources that previously underpinned this website's functionality have since been removed from the public domain. Until NBN Co commits to providing the same level of transparency previously available, myNBN will be in semi-archival mode.
myNBN forced into semi-archival mode
26th April 2014..........
"Despite Government policy and directives to be more transparent, NBN Co has continued to withdraw crucial datasets that underpin an open government. This has placed myNBN, as a free public information service, in an increasingly difficult position over the past 7 months. Providing accurate information in a timely fashion has become practically impossible."................
"Attempts to obtain this information through the Freedom of Information Act were unfortunately found to be unfeasible for myNBN - with NBN Co charging in excess of $150 in processing fees per document. This is not a charge that myNBN can bear or appeal for on a month-to-month basis."................

it's a big mistake. You'd have thought that these idiots would have had 'time' since October 2013, that's going on 8 months, to get a grip on what's called what and what they are responsible for......what am I thinking. *slapping myself

It would appear as though the B/S source feeding that site no longer feeds it.

well that's strange because I watched a Senate Hearing showing Louise Pratt asking Communications 'Guy' answering questions about why NBN info and updates were not forthcoming here:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OPf6qqagZyk but for some reason I cannot view it again.

MyNBN is a site that used to access data from NBN Co to provide roll out info. It's was an alternative to the official roll out maps.
It was created by an individual for public use. When the govt changed they stopped public access to the info, hence the semi-archival mode.
The person answerring senate questions said it belonged to the department. It doesn't.

Yes, it was a massive mistake. This govt has stopped that site from accessing the info the site was based on. The site collated publicly available info into a user friendly site.

I guess they need to keep quiet new uses for all the cabling they will be borrowing for their new academy training school:
.....borrowing assets, using/stealing/reappropriating money re. funds Royal Comm into Abused Chn going to Insulation probe etc.> This is blatant abuse of funds and assets IMO.
This Govt cannot be called Humanistic in their approach though some may accuse them of being humanoids.
